Fitness on the Go
We will be talking about the basics of fitness and how to implement fitness on the go. We will also be talking about how to make fitness part of your lifestyle and not just another fad. Fitness should be fun and there are ways to make everyone enjoy it! You only get one body in this life so we better do our best to take care of it!
Janalee Carter was born and raised in Centerville, Utah. She has played sports her whole life and has always been very active. Basketball is her favorite sport and she played all through high school at Viewmont. She loves working out and helping other people achieve their fitness goals. In 2012 she became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Before becoming a personal trainer she worked at Sportsmed Physical therapy as a PT assistant for three years. She learned all about rehabilitation and uses that knowledge to help her clients who suffer from injury or need extra strength and rehab in certain areas of their body. She works as a personal trainer at Skills Fitness and has a wide variety of clients ranging from ages 14 to 77. She trains athletes, people seeking weight loss, people who need rehabilitation training, people who want to get stronger, and even pregnant women. She worked for Nike until last October and put together the very first Nike Women event in Utah last April 2016.
Janalee attended LDS Business college and Weber state University and has an Associates degree in Business Professional Sales and a Bachelors degree in professional sales. She also served a mission in the Carlsbad California Mission.
Mitch was born and raised in Roy, Utah and has always loved sports and working out. He played baseball for 13 years and then decided to play football and run track in high school where he received offers to play both track and football from local universities. Mitch holds 3 records in track and 1 in football with his time spent at Roy High. With a total of 5 concussions Mitch decided to focus on preparing to serve a full time mission for the LDS church and furthered his education after returning from his mission. Mitch has a passion for staying fit. Mitch has worked side by side with 2 of the top trainers in Utah, Rob Smith and D'marko Blewett. The NASM classes Mitch attended early on combined with his hands on experience with these trainers created who Mitch is today. Mitch is asked questions daily by multiple personal trainers for his advise and knowledge about various topics in the health and fitness industry.
Janalee and Mitch ironically met at the gym in the spring of 2016 and they were later married in October of 2016. They love having an active life together and enjoy their dates to the gym.
